NEW YORK, March 9 (Reuters) - Novartis Capital Corp on
Tuesday sold $5.0 billion of notes in a three-part sale, said a
market source familiar with the transaction.
The offering included $2.0 billion of three-year notes
priced to yield 55 basis points over comparable U.S.
Treasuries, $2.0 billion of five-year notes priced to yield 65
basis points over Treasuries and $1.0 billion of 10-year notes
priced to yield 78 basis points over Treasuries.
The notes are guaranteed by Novartis AG (NOVN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research) and were
priced via joint book-managers Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan.
